The supermarket chain was awarded for its achievements in the Personalisation – Retail and Big Data – Retail categories, celebrating its successful adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) and data-driven solutions.


AI-Powered Personalization and Business Growth

Sharjah Coop’s AI-powered platform has been a key factor in its success. By analyzing over 2.3 million monthly interactions, the company has gained a comprehensive understanding of its 280,000-plus customers. This has led to impressive results, including a 33% increase in customer lifetime value and a 20% rise in customer retention rates. The platform also contributed to a 49% surge in e-commerce revenue and a 50% reduction in customer acquisition costs.

A Commitment to Smart Retail

In addition to its personalization efforts, Sharjah Coop developed a centralized operating system to combine all its data—from sales and inventory to customer behavior—into a single platform. This system provides real-time insights for optimizing the supply chain and making better decisions.
